How do you like our Lines challenge. Are you ready for more inspiration. We have one of the winners of the January Challenge here with us and she created a project inspired by the theme of March Challenge. Take a look.
Let's meet Dorota for this weeks inspiration:
My name is Dorota Król, but since I can remember people call me
Mouse. I'm (almost) 31 years old, currently living by the sea in the UK.
I've been doing various crafts for all my life, started with crochet,
then I discovered cardmaking and scrapbooking. Right now I'm mostly
drawing and art journaling, but still I make a card or layout from time
to time. Besides of arts and crafts, I'm passionate about coffee, tropical freshwater fishkeeping and video games.
Recently I'm a bit obsessed about drawing my drawing supplies... For
this art journal spread I've prepared background using leftover
scrapbooking papers and gesso. Then I've used some old book pages and
scraps of patterned papers - I never throw anything away, even the
tiniest pieces! To add a bit more dynamic look to the collage, I've
drawn contour lines with black India ink pen and added some splashes all
over the page. In the end I've just simly added lines - which are the
main theme of this month's challenge - with various media, like acrylic
paint, Gelatos pastels and brush pen markers.
