Darianna Neko is here to inspire you today! I want to thank you for another opportunity to be the Guest Designer at your blog! I'm happy! For the August challenge I made the canvas panel. I was inspired by the theme of Fruits and wonderful works of DT members and created project with such a tasty and fresh berry as a strawberry. So I gave such a sweet name to my canvas - "Sweet like candy in my veins".
I've found the beautiful photo with strawberries and have placed
it in the center of my canvas. It's the main element, I want it to
emphasize. To make the background i used crackle paste and clear gesso from
Finnabair, black acrylic paint and sprays, magical shaker "Black
forest black" from Lindy's. I stamped the background and plastic
rectangle using stamp with dots from "Lost and found" collection
(7dotsstudio). I cut out paper butterflies from new 7dotsstudio collection
"Garden party" and used butterflies from plastic, that I've made
using stamps from Finnabair and Prima Marketing.

I picked up the quotes from the 7 dots stickers. They matched perfectly. "Sweet as honey", "Sweet like candy in my veins". Also I used stamp with letters from "Writer's block" collection and black embossing powder to make the word "Sweet", that I placed from below the photo. The whole canvas very glitters and shimmers because of a large number of plastic transparent elements - butterflies, frames and black and red stains, with which I wanted to simulate the juice of a ripe strawberry. In general, the canvas turned out to be as black and gloomy as I like. As a finishing touch I added some black toppings - microbeads from Finnabair and big glass microspheres. And sprinkled red glossy "juice" and black splashes.
