November 2018 - Guest Designer - Zvezdana Rot

Hello dear crafters! I am Zvezdana Rot, aka Veana R. I live with my lovely family on the coast of wonderful Slovenia - the only country in the world that has the word LOVE in it's own name. Let's stay in love.... I love my garden, where colourful flowers inspire my creativity and I love reading, because one life for me is not enough, but most of all I love art & crafting. Started 4 years ago with making greeting cards and scrapbooking. Last year in June I started writing a blog and discovered mix media technique.

I wish to THANK Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo for the kind invitation for Guest Designer of November. This month the theme is Monochromatic, so I used only one colour in different shades and tones. I choose the colour green.

LOVING YOU IS EASY is a beautiful quote and part of paper Verano Azul - Celadon.
For the base I used an amazing chipboard I bought last year in Latvia, while I've been on vacation. On it I glued the Cotton Candy Dreams - Mint Julep paper and embossed a beautiful pattern with the Floral Knot stencil. All the papers are from different 7 Dots Studio Collections and the flowers are from the new Garden Party - Dreamy paper.
I shaded all the borders with Distress Ink & Versa Color. For the special shine effect on flowers border I used Nuvo Glitter Drops Of course, I searched all the drawers and cups in my studio to find some green accessories. If you won't found the right shade you can use transparent drops.
It's my first Monochromatic art and I enjoyed it even more than usually. Challenge yourselves and try... Hugs, Veana

November 2018 - Monochromatic - 1st reveal

November is the month of transition between Autumn and Winter. All the wonderful colours of changing leaves start to fade as nature is getting ready for the cold times. This inspired the idea of this month's theme - Monochromatic projects. It may be a challenge to express yourself without being able to use many colours but we hope that this will spark your creativity and result in some great projects. Create any kind of project inspired by the theme and share it with us in this months Challenge.
